Position Overview:
GEICO is seeking an experienced and visionary Developer Engineering Product Management Leader who will be at the helm of strategizing, developing, and enhancing the engineering journey through both software development and SRE products and technologies. This pivotal role is centered around optimizing engineering experience with a data-driven approach, guiding the product roadmap, and spearheading collaborations across multifunctional teams to craft and deliver solutions that resonate with engineering needs and contribute to the company's growth via improved developer productivity and increased reliability of company’s technology and processes. A significant emphasis is placed on dissecting engineering behavior, scrutinizing friction points or sources impacting engineering satisfaction, velocity, quality and reliability, and harnessing insights to refine product features and heighten user satisfaction.
This role requires a deep understanding of software development processes enabling engineers at various levels of expertise from new college hires to Distinguished Engineers to maximize software quality and speed of delivery as well as increase developer productivity and satisfaction. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the organization's software development lifecycle strategy while closely aligning with SRE practices to ensure the stability and reliability of critical systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategically lead the product management function within Developer Engineering domain in defining and executing the vision for an encompassing consumer UX across all touchpoints, both digital and analog.
Harness the power of data analytics to dissect engineering behaviors, pinpoint engineering satisfaction, velocity, quality or reliability bottlenecks, and prioritize impactful product enhancements.
Foster a collaborative culture with UX/UI design, business and platform product teams, engineering, marketing, and analytics teams to conceive and roll out user experience enhancements.
Steer the product roadmap, ensuring it is tightly interwoven with business objectives and the delivery of product enhancements is both strategic and timely.
Vigilantly monitor and appraise product performance metrics, refining strategies adaptively to meet and exceed business objectives.
Annual Salary
$195,000.00 - $315,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
