About the Role

The Warehouse Operations Specialist will report to the Operations Lead and play a key role in managing inventory, fulfilling orders, driving a box truck, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, and the capability to manage tasks autonomously. The Warehouse Operations Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining company delivery vehicles and making deliveries to various project sites.

What You’ll Do

Inventory Management & Order Fulfillment

  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock and supplies, ensuring inventory levels are sufficient for ongoing operations.

  • Prepare and package items for delivery to project sites, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch.

Warehouse Organization & Equipment Handling

  • Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe, implementing efficient storage solutions.

  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other tools necessary for daily operations.

  • Drive a box truck for deliveries and pick-ups.

Quality Control & Vehicle Maintenance

  • Inspect items for defects or discrepancies before shipment, ensuring that only quality materials are sent out.

  • Regularly inspect and maintain company delivery vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and comply with safety standards.

Local Deliveries & Reporting

  • Deliver supplies to various project sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

  • Maintain detailed records of all inbound and outbound shipments, reporting any discrepancies to management.

Autonomous Task Management

  • Prioritize and complete tasks independently, adapting to changing project demands and deadlines.

Other duties as assigned.

About You

Must haves:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Must pass DOT screening requirements

Your Skills:

  • Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and prioritize effectively

  • Excellent communication skills & professionalism

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Safety-focused

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing and Moving: Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time (70%).

  • Repetitive Motions: Engage in repeated motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers (60%).

  • Lifting and Moving Objects: Work includes lifting and moving objects up to 70 lbs regularly, and up to 100 lbs occasionally with assistance (50%) using pallet jacks, forklift and lift gate on box truck.

  • Communication: Requires frequent communication with others to exchange information. Must be able to see, read, write, and speak effectively (30%).

  • Physical Activities: Involves standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing (40%).

This role would not be a good fit if:

  • You don’t enjoy working in a warehouse environment.

  • You’re not comfortable working with heavy machinery or physical labor.

  • If you are not comfortable driving a box truck.

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Bermex salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to customer contact terms, location, experience, and performance. Other rewards may include Paid Time Off, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, ESOP contributions, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and other region-specific benefits as eligible.

Salary Range Transparency

For applicants residing in NY, the salary for this role is $22/hr.
