Supply Chain Manager, Data Project & Process Lead

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role we are reimaging our end-to-end Supply Chain from suppliers all the way to patients and customers. We are delivering a transformation that will enable greater resiliency and efficiency while unlocking our digital ambition. At the center of supply chain digital transformation is data, and more precisely master data. The Supply Chain Manager, Data Project & Process Lead reporting directly to the Director of Data & Digital Platforms, Global Supply Chain will play a critical role in project planning and delivery of master data projects, globally, focusing on the big picture and operations, and the needs of Global Supply Chain organization. The role also requires balancing technical prowess and discernment, advance the master data strategy in the service of the maxim ‘every patient, every time’.

Key Responsibilities

Areas where you will showcase your strengths, but not limited to

Project Due Diligence

  • Partner with the project lead to evaluate master data impacts, costs, and risks, informing the case. Conduct high-level assessments on various domains and reporting.
  • Forecast resourcing needs during project phases and post-implementation sustainment.
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of MDM projects, ensuring alignment with GSC's data management and operational goals.
  • Work closely with the Data Governance Council to align MDM projects with broader data governance frameworks and policies.
  • Collaborate with DTI organizations to ensure that data needs are translated into technological solutions that support the Supply Chain's objectives.

Master Data Management Subject Matter Expertise

  • During the transformation of Master Data Management, the manager will be essential in sharing system-process expertise with other strategic projects and lead the data workstream, if needed.
  • Synthesizing multiple sources of information including broader team member views to develop solutions and recommendations.

Innovation & Improvement

  • Ownership of roadmap and prioritization of capabilities for Master Data Management (MDM), ensuring alignment with strategic goals and the delivery of tangible business value.
  • Ensure constant learning and benchmarking in MDM to stay current with industry trends and innovations, adopting standard processes and technological advancements.
  • Be the primary interface between business units, data management domain leads & DTI, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

Or

Master’s degree and 2 years of supply chain experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of supply chain experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 8 years of supply chain experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of supply chain experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Biopharmaceutical Supply Chains, or consulting in supply chain and/or life sciences.
  • Experience in S/4 Implementations, SAP Master Data programs, or equivalent
  • Knowledge in SAP data model and understanding how systems integrate, plus data flow
  • Pursuing opportunities to develop existing and new skills outside of the comfort zone.
  • Understanding key concepts and communicating effectively with functional/technical staff, business partners and IT management.
  • Communicating technical concepts to nontechnical people to enhance understanding and drive decisions that lead to positive outcomes.
  • Applying organizational skills with the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.
  • Acting to resolve issues which prevent effective team working, even during times of change and uncertainty.
  • Analyzing complex ideas or proposals and building a range of meaningful recommendations.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

Salary Range

105,457.00 USD - 134,661.00 USD
