JR50183 IT Solution Architect - UNIX

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•    12+ years of IT system management experience 
•    7+ years of experience in UNIX technology domain areas (e.g., RHEL OS, LDAP, Satellite, Ansible Tower, Pacemaker, server hardware support, shell scripting, server hardening) 
•    4+ years of experience in design, engineering, implementation, or consulting UNIX platforms in an enterprise infrastructure 
•    4+ years of experience in design, engineering, implementation, or consulting OpenShift platforms in an enterprise infrastructure 
•    4+ years of experience in virtual environment (e.g., VMWare, Nutanix)


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 
•    5+ years of infrastructure architecture experience
•    Experience working with developer communities on application modernization strategies.
•    Working knowledge of Nutanix and VMware hypervisors
•    Working knowledge of Enterprise storage solutions
•    Working knowledge in tools like Servicenow, Splunk, Bitbucket and or any enterprise monitoring tool
•    Implementation knowledge of CI/CD utilizing Containers
•    Basic understanding of Public Cloud (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platforms)
•    Strong understanding on Network Protocols (TCP, UDP, FTP, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP., etc.,)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
•    Help shape, articulate, and implement the technology vision and roadmap in the DCOPS Compute area. 
•    Act as a technical leader during new product conception, working closely with business groups and other IT infrastructure organizations. This includes detailed product requirement definitions, high-level system design, and evaluation.
•    Work closely with operations groups to ensure that new projects are properly initiated with clearly defined product requirements and high-level design.
•    Interface with technical experts across the organization and vendors to identify new opportunities based on the evolution of existing and entirely new solutions.
•    Assist cross-department teams with the roadmap and new technology initiatives.
•    Maintain technical and service domain subject matter expertise to provide input on future roadmap decisions.
•    Participate in creating and maintaining business, data, application, and technology architectures.
•    Provide service domain-level expertise on projects and operational efforts.
•    Partner with IT Enterprise Architects, Project Managers, Solution Group Managers, and business unit stakeholders to understand business requirements and how they align with existing roadmap solutions and capabilities.
•    Work with project teams during design, testing and execution to ensure alignment to existing roadmap and reference architectures.
•    Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure their solutions continue to meet our business needs.
•    Execute all EA processes by using the Architecture Development Methodology, Project Architecture Review, and Roadmap Management processes to ensure the value and flexibility of Micron’s information technology.
•    Drive consistencies across technologies.
•    Develop, oversee, and evangelize best practices.
•    Drive for collaboration and cooperation between worldwide Fabrication sites to align the business.
•    Keep architecture artifacts up to date.
