We are searching for a Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll services, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional support across our organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach a team of Payroll Consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Complete end of year processing in accordance with ATO guidelines.
  • Complete reconciliation of wages and payments and government returns submitted within deadlines.
  • Ensuring Workday is configured to comply with ATO legislative requirements.
  • Preparing and submitting payroll reports, including superannuation, PAYG and other statutory obligations.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries regarding pay, deductions and entitlements.
  • Continuously improving payroll processes and procedures via automation and relevant technology solutions.
  • Manage payroll reconciliations, reporting, and compliance across multiple platforms including Workday, ADP Payforce, and MYOB PayGlobal.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Accounting, Finance, or Business (desirable).
  • Membership with the Australian Payroll Association (desirable).
  • Extensive experience in payroll management and people leadership.
  • Strong HRIS experience, ideally with Workday and ADP.
  • Proven ability to interpret awards, enterprise agreements, and Fair Work legislation.
  • A passion for compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement
