PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Supports FMCNA's mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy.  Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.

Responsible for managing inventory in the clinical setting. Responsible for key relationships with vendors and forecasting. Creates policies and procedures in for inventory control and forecasting. Manages cross-functional initiatives including the implementation of new programs, initiatives, products and technology. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and execute analytical and mathematical optimization (network optimization, simulation, inventory optimizations) models from start to finish, including cross functional project management, data collection and manipulation, and analysis and modeling.
  • Devise recommendations and present findings to internal teams.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to implement results enabling quick wins.
  • Assist operational teams with further analyses needed to gain organizational adoption
  • Identify new areas of opportunity for modeling and analytical rigor. Complete pilot projects to build business cases for larger scale strategic initiatives.
  • Teach and mentor associates on the strategies and analytical skills required to perform such projects.
  • Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISION:

  • Supply chain analysts

EDUCATION:

  • BS/BA in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Mgt
  • MS preferred

    EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:       

    • 5+ years related experience in supply chain design, optimization, analytics, supply chain management, or consulting.
    • Application of mathematical modeling concepts such as optimization and simulation Experience with supply chain optimization software (LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru, Optilogic Cosmic Frog, Decision Spot Foresta, AIMMS, etc..) or operations research programming tools preferred.
    • Ability to analyze and manipulate large data sets
    • Understanding of supply chain management and operations
    • Experience using data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc…)
    • Python programming skills and AI/ML experience a plus
    • High proficiency in analytics, excel modeling, and Microsoft Office applications required
    • Strong interpersonal and collaborative decision making skills with an ability to influence internal and external partners
    • Demonstrable autonomy and drive to operate independently when required, bringing clear thinking and reasoning in the decision making process.
    • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn about new processes with very little information provided
    • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
    • An analytic approach to problem solving; must be capable of extracting & manipulating data from information warehouses
    • Must be a critical thinker and active listener with good time management skills in order to work internal and external teams.
    • Strong project management skills
    • Willingness to travel - primarily domestic.
