We're revolutionizing the fitness & wellness industry, and we’re looking for talented people to help us do it. Mindbody + ClassPass bring together the best of both sides of the market: Mindbody is the industry’s most trusted all-in-one technology platform; ClassPass is one of the most popular apps for fitness & self-care enthusiasts. Together we’re partnering with more than 70,000 fitness studios, gyms, salons, and spas around the world. We’re not just another tech company—we’re far and away the leader of our industry. So join the team, work with mission-led people, and enjoy amazing benefits. Let’s see what we can accomplish together!

Who we are

The ClassPass Product Operations team ensures our customers can seamlessly browse, book and attend all of the fitness classes and spa/salon services in our catalog. We help maintain the components that make up the catalog including inventory classification and page content, and we ensure reservations created on ClassPass can be fulfilled particularly for those partners that utilize one of our third-party software integrations or our CalendarSync product. Our Product Operations team utilizes analytical skills and database querying to maintain the health of our catalog and customer experience

About the right team member

This position is an opportunity to play a central role in the quality and quantity of fitness and wellness inventory on ClassPass and ultimately help ClassPass achieve its mission to make the world a more active place. Your mission will be focused on further optimizing and running existing Product Operations processes, such as our inventory classification system and those related to our scheduling platform integrations. You’ll support new third-party software integrations and help to maintain existing integrations, all which bolster ClassPass’s inventory catalog. You’ll be responsible for monitoring and tracking inventory health and quality, and will play a role in prioritizing work that maximizes impact against team-owned KPIs.

About the role

  • Develop a deep understanding of the ClassPass consumer search and booking experience
  • Maintain the ClassPass inventory classification system (ie: genre tags) and the associated processes, and identify areas of opportunity to improve the system
  • Develop a deep understanding of our Open API spec, which enables new inventory integrations
  • Support the Open API process for new inventory integrations, including prioritization and organization of the pipeline
  • Monitor the health and relationships of our existing bespoke and Open API integrations to ensure stability of ClassPass’s fitness and wellness inventory
  • Contribute to the escalation flow for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our integrations

Skills & experience

  • You are technically curious and interested in developing a deep understanding for how inventory data flows through our systems and how our integrations are supported
  • You have experience that demonstrates attention to detail and ability to establish, follow, and optimize processes
  • You have a passion for data monitoring and would take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving inventory issues
  • You ideally have some SQL experience and you are comfortable defining, querying, and interpreting data
  • You are a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a working environment where you operate independently just as much as you work cross functionally with others
  • You are comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment and are comfortable with shifting priorities to meet the needs of the team and company
  • You are driven by ClassPass's mission to connect members with high quality fitness and wellness experiences, and to support the growth of businesses offering these experiences
