Sr. Welding Engineer
We are looking for a Sr. Welding Engineer to join our Target Rock team!
As our Sr. Welding Engineer you will be responsible for the development of welding techniques and procedures for all welding applications and/or qualifications. You will also responsible for oversight of the metallurgical laboratory and production areas. You will manage the technical requirements and welding activities to comply with both Military Welding Standard NAVSEA 250-1500 and Boiler Pressure Vessel Code ASME Section IX. Experience in GTAW, PTA, and Oxyacetylene, and Welding Automation desired. You will be responsible for investigating and evaluating welding rejects and non-compliance issues. You will also determine appropriate cause(s) and corrective action(s), and recommend effective utilization of welding human resources and equipment to meet the Company’s goals.
Location: East Farmingdale, NY
Salary/hourly rate: $91,00 to $131,399
