Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Manager Regulatory Compliance 2 to join our team of high performing and diverse professionals.  This position is a full-time telecommute role or hybrid on-site in McLean, Virginia.  The selected candidate will, through oversight and participation, lead a team of dedicated professionals in performing multiple Government Compliance activities.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Interpret federal, state, and other regulations as they apply to products, financial processes, and other practices and procedures
  • Provide FAR and CAS advice
  • Respond to and monitor cost allowability and charging practice inquiries
  • Guide cost review and labor charging oversight activities
  • Lead compliance reporting activities
  • Develop and/or update compliance related trainings, e.g., cost allowability, labor, lobbying, and travel to increase employee awareness and knowledge
  • Team development and growth
  • Contribute to other Government Compliance tasks, projects, and process improvement activities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have one of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree with 8 plus years of industry related experience in Auditing, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Pricing/Cost Estimating, Contracts, Program Control, or other related Business Management experience.
    • Master’s degree with 6 plus years of Auditing, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Pricing/Cost Estimating, Contracts, Program Control, or other related Business Management experience
  • Working knowledge of DFARS Business Systems
  • Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Experience developing and motivating staff in a team environment
  • Have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in S/4 SAP
  • Aerospace/Defense industry Government Compliance experience
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to execute with urgency, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Self-motivated creative thinker with a desire to innovate and promote continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and work across line and functional businesses at various levels and disciplines
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance

Salary Range: $114,100.00 - $188,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
