The Sr. Content Lead, Math Intervention will report to the Associate Director, Math Intervention, and will work closely with product leadership and cross-functional product development teams to align, review, and author components of the intervention product.
**This is a contract position**
Responsibilities of the Sr. Content Lead, Math Intervention
Write and review student-facing and teacher-facing math intervention content
Support content developers by reviewing authored lessons and providing feedback, sharing ideas and resources, and ensuring consistency across all grade levels
Author blueprints for assigned grade level(s) that outline the goal and activities within each component of the mini-lesson.
Schedule Amplify editorial feedback meetings and implement changes
Review proofs of intervention activities
Collaborate with the Core team on titling of intervention activities and corresponding Core differentiation tables
Meet regularly to collaborate on the development and revisions of resources with the cross-functional product development teams
Commit to creating a representative, equitable product that supports traditionally marginalized students.
Basic Qualifications of the Sr. Content Lead, Math Intervention
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, elementary education, mathematics education, or similarly relevant subject area
5+ years of experience working either (1) in educational settings, with evidence of excellence in instruction at relevant age levels or (2) at a PK-12 curriculum publishing company, with a focus on elementary mathematics.
Understanding of the K-8 progression of common core standards
Teaching and coaching or interventionist experience in a K–5 educational setting
Leadership experience at the department, school or district level
Familiarity with Amplify’s Math Suite, including its intervention resources
Preferred Qualifications of the Sr. Content Lead, Math Intervention
Graduate degree in early childhood education, elementary education, mathematics education, or similarly relevant subject area
Experience developing or implementing intervention resources
Experience supporting students with disabilities and English Language Learners
Proven experience working with students of diverse levels of preparation and backgrounds
Compensation:
The hourly rate range for this role is $50.
