The Audit Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing audits supporting the Global Capital Markets and Market Risk audit plan. The Audit Project Manager is primarily responsible for supervising staff in the completion of audit engagements with minimal supervision from managers; however, there are no direct reports. The Audit Project Manager is expected to perform and monitor progress of audit engagements against plan and schedule, assess work performed by the audit engagement team, and provide coaching and on-the-job training for team members to ensure engagements are completed in conformance with Corporate Audit Services (CAS) policies and procedures. This individual will have skills and experiences to lead and execute other CAS related Global Capital Markets and Market Risk audit activities such as issue follow-up, regulatory issue validation, continuous monitoring procedures, and various committee reporting.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than six years of applicable experience
- Considerable knowledge of Global Capital Markets and Market Risk businesses and related regulations (Swap Dealer, SEC, FINRA, MSRB, Market Risk Rule, Volcker Rule, etc)
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
- Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills
- Business Acumen and credibility to help business lines proactively identify changing workforce needs
- Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Effective relationship building and negotiation skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
- Applicable professional certifications
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
