Professionals in this group specialize in client due diligence, enhanced due diligence, and customer identity management programs. Responsibilities also include monitoring customer activity, flags and patterns, and investigation of potential fraud and abusive behavior. The process involves loss prevention and minimizing the organization's exposure to illegal credit card payments/transactions, policies and abuse of external fraudulent activity.

As a Sr. Cybersecurity Specialist, you’ll analyze real-time transactions placed on Target.com for suspicious fraudulent activity to minimize Target Corporation fraud losses. You’ll collaborate with the team to identify changing fraud trends and present new strategies to prevent unauthorized Target.com activity. You’ll be working closely with peers, leaders, internal business partners, and external partners on special projects that expand fraud knowledge and skills, as well as pioneer process updates. You will understand risk in the context of its role and escalates identified issues as applicable.

In this position, you will:

  • Develop expertise within the Fraud and Abuse Prevention domain – processing orders in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner through critical thinking and your attention to detail.  This will all happen in a fast-paced environment to ensure that authorized orders are processed and fraudulent orders are prevented.
  • Consistently deliver strong productivity metrics, through ever-changing processes and leadership initiatives beyond baseline expectations
  • Initiate new strategies and collaborate with partners to identify and propose solutions to problems with current system and processes
  • Fielding tips and escalations from other teams and using critical thinking and investigational mindset to deliver confident and thorough resolutions
  • Develops checks and balances to ensure accuracy and identifies and escalates potential threat

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited University
  • Fresher or 1 year of experience
  • Proven superior verbal and written communication skills, including listening, negotiating and decision-making skills
  • Ability to interact with peers professionally, give and receive feedback and make critical decisions on escalations
  • Ability to use various information sources to answer questions, verify and confirm Target.com activity, work in grey areas, willingness to dig deep and investigate and hunt thoroughly
  • Strong technical skills, ability to work within multiple systems, high proficiency with PC/Microsoft applications
  • Open to work in 24/7 shifts, preferably working in US time zones
