Role purpose

The key purpose of the Centre Manager is to provide leadership across multiple business functions at the Centre level, using leadership capabilities with the asset team to deliver the centre’s strategic and financial objectives. The Centre Manager plays a pivotal role in coaching and mentoring the onsite management team to build capability and engagement in order to maintain an optimal customer and shopping experience. This role is responsible for the management and operations of the shopping centre, delivering exceptional results, leading stakeholder management for the asset, and focusing on shaping meaningful places where communities connect.

We’re looking for a Centre Manager to lead operations and drive performance for one of our flagship shopping centres. What you’ll do:

  • Lead and Inspire: Coach and mentor a high-performing onsite team, fostering engagement and capability.
  • Drive Strategy: Develop and execute the centre’s Vision Strategy Action Plan, adapting to market trends and corporate priorities.
  • Deliver Financial Excellence: Identify income opportunities, manage budgets, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising customer experience.
  • Champion Retailer Success: Build strong relationships with retailers, support their growth, and ensure compliance with lease terms.
  • Create Community Connections: Shape vibrant spaces that bring people together and enhance the shopping experience.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience in retail or property management.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to deliver commercial results.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
