Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Planning Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving business improvements by performing comprehensive analyses that identify opportunities for enhancing supply chain efficiency. This position collaborates across departments and with internal partners designing and implementing optimized, integrated supply chain solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage Right Part Right Time methodologies to illuminate Velocity defects
  • Analyze data to identify critical supply chain gaps and lead projects to define root causes and establish and implement permanent corrective actions
  • Identify, define, and execute supply chain initiatives aimed at improving performance, building strong alliances both internally and externally to uncover opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Establish effective working relationships and partnerships with business stakeholders and internal teams, promoting the adoption of best practices across the organization.
  • Research and apply industry benchmarks, metrics, and best practices to ensure supply chains are optimized for suppliers and product groups.
  • Develop and analyze data to pinpoint and prioritize opportunities that enhance performance, streamline inventory utilization, and foster cost-effective business partnerships.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Fluent English

Skills:

  • Cross-Team Integration: Build and maintain an internal network to facilitate collaboration, share relevant information across teams, evaluate potential synergies, and apply best practices from comparable groups to enhance team performance.
  • Project Management: Use established project management tools to plan, estimate, staff, organize, and monitor significant projects. Identify risks, create contingency plans, conduct project reviews, and maintain transparent communication with all participants.
  • Supply Chain Management (Manufacturing): Contribute to the integration of partner and supplier transactions, recognize software solutions for supply chain management, summarize supply chain considerations for various products, participate in trend analysis, and focus on specific parts of the supply chain process.
  • Decision Making & Critical Thinking: Apply critical thinking techniques in decision-making, organize relevant data, document processes and stakeholders, clarify concerns, and assist in evaluating risks and alternatives.

Top Candidates also have

  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
  • Certified in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt)
  • Certified in APICS CPIM or CSCP
  • Certified in Business Process Professional
  • Certified in Project Management Professional
  • Certified in Supply Chain Professional

  • This position is five-day a week in-office model.
