Job Summary:

Working Hours: Full time, 9am – 5pm, 40 hours per week with extra weekend working throughout festival season onsite. Some travel required.

Role Description


Cuffe & Taylor operates Lytham Festival, The Piece Hall Live, Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Bedford Park Concerts, Cardiff Castle and many other sites. Cuffe & Taylor also produce and promote over 1,500 theatrical shows across the UK and Internationally each year and project manage a major London attraction.
The event assistant will work within the operation team and be a key role in the planning and delivery of festivals, concerts and tours at Cuffe & Taylor. In this role, the successful candidate will be involved will be to support the operations team in delivering festivals, outdoor concerts and theatre tours.

  • Previous event experience

You may have prior experience involving, project management; local authority licensing department; licence compliance; event management; event coordination; health and safety

What the role includes

  • Managing procurement documentation and paperwork processes
  • Managing hotel bookings across the summer festivals
  • Managing and booking promoter reps and freelancers across all festivals and theatre tours
  • Answering customer emails through ZenDesk for Cuffe & Taylors festivals, concerts and theatre shows
  • Producing FAQs and customer information for Cuffe & Taylor festivals, concerts and theatre shows
  • Working closely with the event team in ensuring all documents are organised
  • Assisting the operation team with organising
  • Liaising with the operations, production, artist liaison and ticketing teams to assist with any roles including accreditation, radio management, meal tickets and any other relevant roles
  • Working on site at events and festivals as required, including weekends and evenings
  • Assisting with hotel bookings for staff and crew
  • Ad hoc tasks as required
