Real World Data & Analytics (RWD&A) at GSK
RWD&A is an integral part of Biostatistics Dept. within GSK. The team collaborates with various departments to support drug development and patient access through comprehensive analytics. We excel in generating value-based Real-World Evidence (RWE) across multiple therapy areas, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of R&D. Our mission is to create a Center of Excellence that aids internal decision-making and contributes to successful regulatory approval and reimbursement of medicines and vaccines. The successful candidate will have:
A Master’s degree in Data Science/Statistics Discipline
In addition, ideally you will have:

What will you do?
You will be dictated by the needs of GSK’s pipeline of products, the needs of the RWD&A function and your role. Opportunities exist to work on the delivery of pipeline assets in specific or varied diseases and experience challenges faced when working in different phases of drug development (phases I to IV). You will also have the opportunity to contribute towards introducing new innovations to drive efficiencies and to the “upskill” of RWD&A and staff across the Biostatistics function with regards to adapting innovation philosophy.
You’ll spend first 8 months in an area where you will be exposed about high level idea of drug development and Clinical development plan, then will be in a Therapeutic Area gaining Real world data experience in a more detail fashion. You will be exposed to complex RW Databases, different programming tools, Epidemiological concepts, clinical domain, and project management skills. Subsequent rotations of 8 months each would be in different functions of RWD&A aligned to different Therapeutic areas to get a flavour of intricacies within it. Our work is diverse and challenging with the common goal to advance the science of human health.
