Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

• Data Analysis and Modeling:
  • Analyze complex business requirements to design and implement efficient data models.
  • Develop and optimize DAX and M queries for advanced data manipulation.
• Power BI Development:
  • Design and create visually compelling and interactive reports and dashboards.
  • Customize and extend Power BI functionality through advanced scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Implement complex calculations and business logic within Power BI.
• Power Platform Integration:
  • Leverage Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate) to create integrated solutions.
  • Embed Power BI reports into Power Apps and vice versa for a unified user experience.
  • Automate workflows and processes using Power Automate.
• Scripting and Automation:
  • Develop scripts to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Implement scripting solutions to enhance Power BI functionality and automate routine tasks.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines using scripting languages.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data sources.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate advanced analytics into Power BI.
• Training and Support:
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI, Power Platform, and scripting solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, dashboards, and data processes.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to Power BI and scripting.
  • Continuously optimize and enhance existing reports and scripts based on user feedback and evolving business needs.

What we need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong understanding of data visualization principles.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or others.
• Proficiency in DAX and M queries.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with various data sources.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred Skills:
• Certifications in Power BI, Power Platform, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Experience with advanced analytics and machine learning integration in Power BI.
• Knowledge of Azure services related to Power BI and scripting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
• Familiarity with version control systems for managing scripts.
