We’re looking for an exceptionally talented Associate Director of Strategic Accounts who will be responsible for growing and fostering client account relationships.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

You will be responsible for understanding your clients deeply, at times better than they know themselves, in order to own the overall client relationship and long-term growth of the account.

Internally, you will be an advocate for both your client and your project teams, take charge in steering internal teams on day-to-day activities to ensure the work meets your clients’ expectations and business needs, and partner with Production to set the forecast for account revenue and resourcing needs. You will set expectations for account opportunities and consistently communicate status and suggestions on how our agency can improve. You will leverage agency leadership to support the account as needed, from executive stakeholder management to signing off on the work. Externally, you will build relationships across client stakeholders sometimes including C-level executives, to proactively position Rhythm as a partner that can support the range of their business needs.

ESSENTIALS:

  • 7+ years relevant experience from a marketing agency
  • Possesses deep, applied expertise in integrated marketing (channels, tools, analysis, techniques, influential business examples)
  • Is seen as a leader internally and by clients, driven by insight-led thinking and an in-depth knowledge of the client’s business
  • Successfully grows long-term, trusted relationships with senior level clients, consistently demonstrating an ability to identify new business opportunities
  • Proven track record of leading successful brand engagements for world class brands
  • Plays a lead role in securing incremental revenue through client relationship building and successfully sell-in of Rhythm service offerings
  • Adept at discussing scopes and budgets with clients, inclusive of media budgets
  • Resourceful, creative thinker with ability to tackle complex problems and spot unique solutions
  • Focused on promoting continual optimization and actively contributing to a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability
  • A deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods; past performance in uncovering insights as well as areas of opportunity for business growth
  • Excel at leading just as much as making and have a willingness to roll up their sleeves
  • Is an expert in shaping creative that leads to impactful, breakthrough marketing programs that anticipate client needs
  • Able to translate client needs into actionable next steps and roadmaps
  • Demonstrates thought leadership and creation of intellectual capital that can be applied to other clients
  • Leads and inspires cross department team through their passion for clients and their business
  • Ability to create a fun, inspirational, and collaborative environment with cross-functional teams to foster a shared sense of ownership and success
