This position will support the management of the WBD Global Business Services organization through specialized O2C and P2P reporting and analysis. This will require periodic and ad-hoc reports and reporting tools for internal and external customers; This position will support reporting and analysis at the corporate level, as well as divisional level. This position will also assist with high-profile asset financing reports such as AR Securitizations, and AR Factoring.

The Daily: 

  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Portfolio Reporting
  • Researches, analyzes and synthesizes large amount data from multiple sources into business information for Global WBD Order to Cash and Purchase to Pay. 
  • Create into reports and reporting tools to provide visibility for key AR and AP stakeholders. 
  • Create reporting to assist stakeholders and leadership in AR Collections, Cash Target, AP Payments, and Cash Disbursement decisioning.
  • Provide company-wide as well as division-specific reporting.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of reporting through strong understanding and analysis of data. 
  • Supports the monthly financial analysis with operations.
  • Independently identify and resolve reporting issues.  Escalate appropriately.
  • Create and maintain periodic and ad-hoc reports using various reporting software like Hyperion Essbase, SAP Business Objects, SQL, MS Suite,
  • PowerBI, and Peoplesoft Query. 
  • Continually assess and implement automation of reporting and portfolio analytics.
  • KPIs, Metrics and High-Profile Reporting
  • Responsible for sourcing and consolidating data for high-profile company AR reports like AR Securitization, Factoring and Bad Debt Reserves.  
  • Assist with division-specific reporting and manage consolidated company-wide reporting.
  • Manage the various internal and external processes and communications to ensure compliance with all contractual and compliance protocols.  
  • These include communications with treasury, account payable, accounting, and representatives from the Factoring and Securitization banking institutions
  • Create reporting for leadership with Key Performance Indicators, and metrics to assist AR, AP and resource performance evaluation and trending. 
  • KPIs include but are not limited to DSO, DBO, CEI, DTP, DPO, % Unapplied Cash, Default %, Delinquent %, Days to Apply Cash, Days to Invoice, etc.
  • Prepare dashboards and ad-hoc reporting for senior leadership.
  • Analyze AR reports, data, and metrics to identify business drivers, opportunities and risks.  
  • Communicate findings with appropriate stakeholders. 
  • Communicate trends and potential issues to appropriate stakeholders. 
  • Continually assess and implement automation of reporting and portfolio analytics.
  • Coaching and Training
  • Help train and guide more junior level team members
  • Acts as a mentor and role model to more junior level team members
  • Assists in reviewing work produced by more junior level team members

The Essentials: 

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in business, finance, or accounting
  • Experience in reporting from ERPs like SAP, Peoplesoft and/or Oracle required
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivables/accounts payables reporting principles & processes
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles preferred
  • Ability to use & navigate across various systems & software programs
  • Must have strong work ethic & work independently
  • Must have ability to manage multiple priorities & competing deadlines
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to explain & present findings in an easy-to-understand language.
  • Advanced verbal & written communication

Nice to Have: 

  • 5+ years in finance/accounting reporting experience, preferred 
  • Experience working with accounts receivable, preferred
  • Experience working with accounts payable, preferred 
  • Advanced skills reconciling reports for accuracy from datasource, preferred 
  • Advanced excel skills (pivot tables, lookup formulas, sumfis, index-matchs, if-then formulas, left, right, mid, etc), preferred 
  • Experience in working with SAP Business Objects, and/or SQL, preferred
  • Experience working with various reporting & data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc), preferred 
  • Experience working in Media/Entertainment Industry, preferred
