Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Monthly close activities to meet Corporate timelines, planning preparing the period close checklist and ensure adherence to milestones

  • Lead the entire Withholding Tax (TDS) compliance and tax payments and tax eTDS return filings and timely issuance of tax (TDS) certificates to employees and vendors

  • Deeply involved in Dynamics ERP, ensure GL set ups from US GAAP and IGAAP perspective including administering chart of accounts to be in alignment with Corporate Chart of accounts

  • Supports Fixed Assets GL accounting (depreciation, capitalization and also impairment of assets analysis), ensure accuracy of fixed assets register and assets tagging

  • Operating expenses review, ensure accurate cost center accounting, timely publishing periodic reports to Corp FP&A teams

  • Quarterly accounts recons and BS reviews

  • Inter Company accounting (including overseas entities)

  • Consolidation of Inter Company accounts and related elimination entries

  • General Ledger accounting and reporting, Inter Company close and reporting

  • Support external audit both from US GAAP and I GAAP perspective

  • Working knowledge on ERP

LOCATION, TRAVEL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Bangalore India

  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally as required

  • Full compliance with the Ohmium Vaccination Policy

FORMAL EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENT

  • CA final/ Inter with 3 -5 years of working experience  on GL accounting

  • Must have working knowledge of ERP like Microsoft applications (Dynamics), ; SAP, Oracle,
