The Accountant is responsible for the consolidation of financial statements for the company. This role involves ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, preparing consolidated financial reports, and supporting the financial reporting process.
What you will do:
Prepare and consolidate financial statements for the APAC region.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards.
Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
Coordinate with various departments and subsidiaries to gather necessary financial information.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Assist in the development and implementation of standardization processes and controls.
Support the annual audit process by providing required documentation and explanations to external auditors.
Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and standards.
Assist in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting in multinational corporations.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and consolidation accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and analytical with the desire to learn for continuous improvement.
Ability to work in high pace and dynamic environment and a team player working towards a common team goal.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
