We are looking for an experienced Community Relations Liaison to join our Business Development team. This role would be responsible for supporting the development and execution of impactful mental health programs for young people in schools and youth organizations. We are looking for someone who is passionate about youth mental health and eager to build strong community relationships that drive the adoption of Talkspace’s services in educational settings. To work at Talkspace, you need to be as passionate as we are about our work, and excited to partner with us on delivering quality mental healthcare.

Please note: This position is Seattle-based and will require some in-person field work in the Seattle community. 

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Senior Director, Youth Programs, in developing and implementing mental health outreach strategies for schools and youth-focused organizations, with a strong focus on teens and young adults.
  • Assist in driving awareness and utilization of Talkspace’s services among students, educators, parents, seniors, and other covered individuals in the community.
  • Develop and adapt program materials that are relevant for all teen-focused mental health initiatives, including combined messaging from the start to ensure a cohesive approach.
  • Utilizing excellent time management and operational skills, plan and execute outreach efforts to engage a broad section of the community, including schools, OB/GYN practices, senior centers, military bases, and other local partners, ensuring efforts are aligned with community needs and organizational goals.
  • Establish relationships with educational institutions, youth organizations, and community leaders through in-person visits, emails, calls, and event participation.
  • Document activities, track outcomes, and help refine strategies to improve outreach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop resources that support the expansion of Talkspace’s youth programs into new cities, ensuring materials are tailored to diverse community needs.

About You 

  • Experience or familiarity with youth-focused programming and an understanding of the mental health challenges faced by young people.
  • Outgoing and comfortable working in the field, engaging directly with the community.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience in outreach or partnership development.
  • Passionate about making mental health services accessible to youth and their families.
  • Prior experience in the education sector, public health, or youth mental health services.
  • Background in behavioral health is a plus.

Compensation

At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively. The base salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $80,000 per year, plus bonus opportunties. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
