What We Do

Player Experience is responsible for the overall health and happiness of Epic’s players across all consumer products within the Epic Games ecosystem. The Player Experience organization partners closely with internal and external stakeholders, relentlessly driving innovation and continuous improvement on behalf of all Epic’s players.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Product Manager in the Player Experience team, you will collaborate with cross-functional team members to drive development initiatives across our suite of products. You will use both creative and analytical skills to identify opportunities, define product features & strategy, support roadmap development, execute live operations and contribute to strategic planning. You will have a critical role in maturing the products to solve the problems of millions of players and helping thousands of agents to work more efficiently and productively.

In this role, you will

  • Define measurable feature and initiative goals, as well as create detailed business and product requirements for our public facing presence (www.epicgames.com/help), for our internal support tools and for our used CRM, Salesforce
  • Take accountability for the adoption and success of features and products from inception through to delivery and evaluation, both internally and externally
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams and effectively communicate with stakeholders, including users/developers, technical teams, and management, to gather and specify requirements, and explain technical designs / features
  • Create experiments to test hypotheses in partnership with design and development teams
  • Establish MVPs while considering long-term scalability for future sequencing that has dependencies on multiple teams running at the same time
  • Maintain a live backlog, balancing the needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team members to assess user behavior, technical viability, test new technology and explore design options

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in live operation & support products
  • A demonstrated track record of delivering incremental, meaningful improvements to tools, content, or processes to customers or users. Experience building online safety products is a plus
  • Someone who is versed and familiar with software development lifecycles, manage and prioritize, sprints, and act as product owner for the development team
  • Experienced in architecting and leading innovative, complex products involving regulatory requirements, and adept at working with legal, compliance and policy teams towards shared outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Skilled in defining and tracking success metrics that matter, and comfortable working with data tools to support your understanding
  • Experienced with conducting user research to inform your perspective on what problems are critical to solve, and the efficacy of different approaches to solve them
  • Experienced in advocating for the needs of your customers and users, with excellent communication and presentation skills

This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA & NYC).

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

$211,514$310,220 USD
California Base Pay Range
$186,132$272,994 USD
