Overview:

The Citi Treasury Investments group (CTI) manages a portfolio consisting of Issued Debt, Intercompany Borrowings & Placements, AFS/HTM Securities, and Derivatives. CTI is responsible for managing central liquidity and investment portfolio, executing multiple hedge programs, providing US dollar financing to other trading desk, and management of the USD interest rate risk in banking book.  The goal is to achieve Citi’s desired net interest position, by issuance of benchmark debt and structured notes, credit card securitizations and perform liability management for all capital securities issued through Citigroup and CBNA.

CTI Summit Execution team works closely with stakeholders in CTI to define, drive, and execute end-to-end process design and implementation efforts across Treasury activities, which span global Treasury groups, Finance and Risk functions, Technology teams, and numerous businesses who work in partnership with Treasury.  The team works to identify priorities, coordinate efforts, track progress, and define and implement best practices.  

The role sits in the CTI Summit Execution team and requires a project manager professional who can lead the design, development, execution, and implementation of technology solutions in support of the CTI business.  The role requires a project manager with strong communication skills, the ability to work across cross-functional teams, distill complex information into concise, clear summaries to gain consensus and direction from project teams.  The role covers all aspects of project management life cycle from project initiation, requirements definition, testing, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage from inception to implementation initiatives to build and enhance CTI’s critical hedge programs
• Drive collaborations with stakeholder leads across CTI trading desks, product control, risk, operations & technology to understand the key business problems while partnering with Technology to identify best-in-class, sustainable solutions
• Independently lead 1 to 3 projects, monitor project(s) progress, establish necessary governance & cadence to ensure on time, in budget project delivery
• Provide oversight and guidance to junior team members supporting projects
• Author BRD, FRD, project plans, and lead testing execution 
• Identify and manage risks and issues. Anticipate delays and solve issues that arise.
• Succinctly present project updates including risks, issues, and general progress at an executive level on a weekly basis
• Detailed data analysis/issue resolution and partnering with subject matter experts in Citi’s infrastructure to improve and address data quality

Qualifications Include:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate level degree a plus, PMP Certification a plus
• 10+ years of experience within financial services or consulting
• 5 years of experience within project management and the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC)
• Deep understanding of integrated, front-to-back, multi-year, cross-functional, multi-geographies programs.
• Proven track record of leading at least two large projects, for 6+ months in duration, with a cross-functional team.
• Must be a strong influencer and have partnering skills
• Abstract critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Treasury product knowledge, including background in hedging, pricing, accounting, or risk  (FX, Swaps, Bonds etc.)
• Technical skills:  MS Visio, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, JIRA, Summit software a plus

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
