Job Title: HR Operations Specialist

Position Overview:
As the HR Operations Specialist, you will be a critical member of the US Epredia HR team and the first point of contact for employee support in the US. You will be responsible for providing excellent service and support relative to the delivery of core HR services including Leave of Absence Management, Benefits, HR policies & procedures, onboarding, off-boarding, and HR data management.
You will be responsible for interfacing and problem-solving with employees, leaders, and the HR team to provide transactional HR support. We are looking for an ambitious HR professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Location: This is a hybrid position based out of our Portsmouth, NH facility.
What you will do:
Champions and facilitates an exceptional employee experience at all touch points of the employee lifecycle
Acts as the first HR point of contact for employee queries including leaves of absence management, benefit inquiries, pay related, US HR policies & procedures, on-boarding, off-boarding, and general HRIS (Workday) support
Provides phone and email coverage Monday – Friday, 8-5pm EST for the US HR Service Center; provides backup to our Global team
Manage Leaves of Absence process to include but not limited to; FMLA, State Family leave(s), Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Military Leave, and Workers Compensation – will partner with 3rd party disability/FMLA provider to ensure seamless employee experience
Collaborate with the broader HR team, Centers of Excellences (COEs), and 3rd party vendors to resolve employee issues in a thorough and timely manner
Review and process new hires, status changes, and termination requests in Workday
Management & Tracking of programs; including Recognition programs, Tuition Reimbursement, Talent Referral, and Service Anniversaries
Identifies ways to improve current processes and automate where possible
Perform special projects as assigned
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Associate degree and equivalent work experience directly attributable to human resources operations support; Bachelor’s degree preferred
2+ years working in an HR Service Center or similar customer service equivalent role is highly preferred
Previous experience in Leave of Absence Management; including FMLA, State Family Leaves, STD, LTD preferred
Previous experience in Benefits Administration is preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills needed with the ability to communicate well in a diverse work environment and at all levels of the organization
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, experience using a HRIS database and reporting application; preferably Workday
Ability to interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and programs
