Department Overview

Global Services Strategy, Business Intelligence & Operations is responsible for providing strategy and analytics and guidance to support the SVP, Global Services with business analysis, data modeling and recommendations on key decisions. The group works cross-functionally with field teams, service delivery, new offer management, and other internal stakeholders on high-profile projects.


Job Description

You will work alongside the company’s Global Services Business Intelligence & Operations team helping to solve business problems using data via quantitative analysis, development of metrics & KPIs, financial modeling and dashboard development. Projects may include:

  • Working with stakeholders to gather requirements for various projects

  • Assess effort for development of new dashboards or reports 

  • Understand data components and collaborate stakeholders to outline milestones for execution and finalize a project plan

  • Create Tableau data visualizations, dashboards, and report development to support executive level and internal customer needs

  • Analyze data and processes to develop and define KPIs

  • Collaborate and drive consensus with Global teams on end to end metrics for reporting

  • Development of models and dashboards to identify key business insights

  • Data governance: create, maintain & deliver the source of truth for Global Services data

  • Data creation leveraging multiple sources, source systems, and data structure

  • Ability to write complex SQL queries for data analysis and data manipulation

  • Detailed data validation to ensure accuracy

  • Data integrity and report automation improvement

  • Experience in data modeling, requirements gathering, and defining data relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working with data that is not clean & requires validation

  • Strong understanding of business financial acumen

  • Good at structuring complex problems in simple and easy-to-understand ways

  • Strategic thinking - Listening to and understanding customer needs; decisive and forward thinking

  • Strong influencing skills - role requires cross-collaboration and ability to obtain support from various teams and business units

  • Energetic and self-assertive - must be well organized and able to make proactive recommendations

  • Effective multitasking capability - Comfort with fast-paced and rapidly evolving environments

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with ITSM tools and systems e.g. ServiceNow, PureCloud, Salesforce would be beneficial

  • IT Operations, Service Desk, or Call Center experience a plus

  • Experience working in highly analytical setting requiring quantitative analytics

  • 3+ years of experience building data visualizations in a professional setting

  • 3+ years of SQL experience in a professional setting

  • Tableau, SQL, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Google Apps skills

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
