Accountable for and manages the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of project(s) with relatively small and/or less complex scope and deliverables. Project scope typically impacts one of the following: process, system, function, and/or product. Length of project may run one year or less in duration.

Supports the business by recommending appropriate actions, strategies and/or alternatives to meet business needs. Has responsibility for leading/managing all aspects of a project and or program such as planning, coordination, development, implementation including the financial implications while prioritizing work, resources and time. Ensures the end state of the project and/or business operations meets business objective(s) and that all deliverables and due dates are met. Highly collaborative process often requires managing relationships across the segments or multiple functional areas. Required Qualifications

  • If you are within 25miles of a CVS location; in office is required
  • Provides input on business plan to achieve business goals.
  • Proactively leads assigned project by creating project timeline, identifying key milestones and additional resources needed to successfully complete the work.
  • Able to define key dependencies within a project plan and escalate when those key dependencies are at risk.
  •  Assists with the management of internal relationships, processes and performance drives (in some cases relationships may be external).
  • Negotiates to obtain additional resources (may be cross functional/segment).
  • Responsible for the budget and/or financial implications of the project.
  • Identifies issues that may stall project and works with manager to address them.
  • Tracks progress and communicates project status on a regular basis to all impacted parties.
  • Actively participates in all aspects of the document and verbal readiness reviews and actively involved in Command Center issue/risk resolution
  • Builds communication plan for implementation to ensure all impacted parties (upstream/downstream) are informed of next steps for completion.
  • Acts as an advocate for change may require influencing others to see the value in project.
  • Group facilitation/presentation influencing various internal (these may be cross-functional/segment) may also include external parties.
  • May coach or mentor others by providing work direction.
  • May solicit and evaluate internal and external customer feedback to enhance continuous quality improvement.
  • May identify gaps and recommend enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization.
  • Develops recommendations based on complex data and root cause analysis.
  • May serve as a Subject Matter Expert.

  • 3-5 years related work experience.
  • Demonstrated project successes with related disciplines:  business process development, implementations, migrations, system upgrades, automation replacement, operational improvements, etc. 
  • Demonstrated skills in building/directing an internal team to collaborate with a broad team of SMEs from diverse organizational backgrounds to effectively meet project goals and affect change
  • Project/program expertise in stakeholder facilitations, communications and relationship management


Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects (previous experience)
  • Experience with Asana, Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Project and Visio required
  • Experience with SharePoint 2010 required
  • Relationship leadership and change management skills


Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $117,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
