How you will make an impact:
- Craft compelling, intelligent, and engaging copy for a variety of marketing materials, including ads, TV scripts, texts, emails, newsletters, listicles, direct response pieces, landing pages, and more.
- Employ your high level of comfort with social media to support both organic and paid social campaigns on platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, Quora and more.
- Share in the ideation, creation, and implementation of multi-channel marketing initiatives.
- Ensure all marketing content communicates our brand’s identity as an authoritative and empathetic source of insurance information.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure both content and design of every project cohesively communicate marketing objectives.
- Work with external creative service providers to execute on deliverables within project timelines.
Who you are:
- A seasoned marketing copywriter with a commanding portfolio of work, preferably in a personal finance-related field. Please share a link to your portfolio with your application.
- A storyteller at heart, adept at communicating messaging through an array of content types, from long-form educational pieces to 10-second TV ad scripts.
- A creative, original thinker capable of bringing your own ideas and innovations to the table while expertly executing on requested deliverables.
- An avid consumer of social media, with a keen understanding of what’s trending now and what’s lined up to be the next viral sensation.
- A marketing writer with at least 3 years of experience creating effective content that achieves project goals.
- You thrive when you have more than one project to work on, excel in writing with more than one content voice, and aren’t intimidated by multiple deadlines.
- You have at least an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, English or other relevant coursework.
- You’re experienced working with remote teams, and building relationships with peers, managers, and outside service providers both in-office and remotely.
