The Opportunity

  • This is not a remote opportunity.
  • Qualified candidates must currently live in the Chicagoland area.
  • This position works out of our Willis Tower location.
  • Must be able to travel up towards 10%.

What You’ll Work On

  • Responsible for the development, strategic planning and execution of specific marketing plans and activities for specific market segments or products to establish, enhance or distinguish placement within the competitive arena.
  • Develop, implement and execute strategic and tactical initiatives to maximize business impact of products/projects.
  • Participate in annual departmental budgeting processes by providing relevant data points to assist in overall decision making.
  • Lead and/or participate on cross-functional teams in support of organizational goals.
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) within the assigned market segment interface with internal and external customers and partners.
  • Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.
  • Manage single or multiple, smaller products/projects or who functions within a specific role within a larger project.
  • Has a solid understanding of concepts and applies these concepts with a good deal of effectiveness.
  • Functions independently under general guidance and direction.
  • May mentor others.
  • Plans and organizes project assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
  • Initiates or maintains schedules for projects and project milestones.
  • Establishes priorities of individual or project assignments.
  • Selects methods and techniques to lead a project to completion.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 8 years related work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years with or exposure to sales and/or marketing in the following areas: healthcare, medical devices, or medical diagnostics to develop the competence required to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.
  • Understanding of the technology and capabilities of the Division's products and of market and customer dynamics.
  • Understanding of sales processes.
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting medical devices/diagnostics.
  • Ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to apply analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to convey communications clearly, concisely, and accurately, whether verbal, written or in presentations.
  • Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software.
  • Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

The base pay for this position is

$95,000.00 – $190,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
