This person will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization! We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Human Resources to align our human resources strategies with our business objectives. Position Purpose: As a VP of Human Resources, you will be a trusted advisor on the executive leadership team, providing insights and solutions to drive organizational effectiveness. Your expertise in strategic workforce planning, talent management, organizational development, and employee relations will be critical in achieving our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a pivotal member of the Jackson and Coker People Services Team, which includes Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring that HR practices support the overall business objectives.
- Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies, including workforce planning and succession planning.
- Foster a positive workplace culture by managing employee relations, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts.
- Establish an effective performance management framework that aligns associate performance with organizational objectives.
- Guide managers on performance appraisal processes, coaching, and feedback.
- Ensure ongoing training and development programs are in place to enhance associate skills and career growth.
- Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs that meet the needs of associates and comply with regulations.
- Ensure all HR practices adhere to labor laws, regulations, and company policies, promoting a fair and compliant work environment.
- Assess and optimize organizational structures to enhance performance and adaptability.
- Lead change management initiatives to support organizational transformation and culture shifts.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR services.
- Partner with executives, business leaders, and other departments to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Champion the company’s values and culture, ensuring they are integrated into all aspects of the associate experience.
- Maintain relationships with external HR vendors, consultants, and service providers to optimize HR services.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) highly desirable.
Skills:
- Capable of establishing and nurturing strong working relationships with other leaders within the organization, fostering collaboration and alignment towards common objectives.
- Proven experience in strategic workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Experience in change management and leading organizational change initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and ability to integrate HR strategies with business needs.

- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and data analytics.
