As a Program Manager II Cancer Community Outreach, you will oversee and coordinate different related projects to ensure they benefit one another and meet business goals. This person will work with the community to help bridge gaps and get patients screened for cancer as needed. Some of your main duties will include organizing various programs and activities to improve company efficiencies, building long-term goals for company projects, and developing programs and project budgets.

  • Serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
  • Reviews and monitors adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Associate’s degree and five years of experience may substitute the Bachelors degree requirement.
  • Master’s degree and two year of experience may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Three years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training.
  • Data analysis experience in a healthcare setting preferred..

Preferred Qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Community outreach experience within the community.
  • Understanding of population health and gaps in access
  • Understanding barriers to why members of the community don’t get screened.
  • Understanding gaps in cancer screening rates
  • Experience with barriers to access

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.
  • Demonstrated team, leadership, organizational, financial management and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development.
  • Strong presentation, communication and training skills required for most positions

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. 
  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.  
  • Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.  
  • In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.  
  • In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
