Job Description

The Strategic Finance and Analytics Senior Manager plays a crucial role in providing financial guidance and support to Senior Leaders across various business units within the organization. This role serves as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, helping them understand and optimize financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive/influence informed, financially sound, decision-making in alignment with the overall business strategy.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Support the development and evolution of decision-enabling financial tools, models and storytelling to deliver financial information and educate stakeholders on business performance.

- Work collectively with Finance leadership to evaluate investment opportunities, projects, and initiatives, conducting cost-benefit analysis and assessing their financial viability

- Collaborate with business units to develop accurate budgets and forecasts aligned with organizational goals and financial objectives.

- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, assessing performance against targets and recommending corrective actions as needed.

- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes, improve financial systems, and enhance overall performance

- Prepare ad hoc reports and lead cross-functional special projects as required.

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

- Eight or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Master’s degree in quantitative field like Statistics, Mathematics or Econometrics

- Prior Experience in Payments or Banking a Plus

- Expertise in financial modeling and analytics to assess the impact of various business initiatives on revenue and profitability.

- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques including Excel, SQL and business intelligence platforms.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $123,165.00 - $144,900.00 - $159,390.00
