Our Sarah Cannon Research Institute is adding a Strategic Partnership Executive position to our Business Development and Leadership teams!
Our Strategic Partnership Executive will establish and nurture relationships between SCRI and select industry partners to advance common interests and achieve mutual goals, positioning yourself as the partners “go-to” contact. This includes both current strategic partners and select organizations of interest. You will facilitate collaborative engagement with key accounts across our highly matrixed organization enlisting the support of essential SCRI stakeholders. As the primary point of contact, the Strategic Partnership Executive is responsible for deploying and upholding a high-quality customer experience, supporting in all areas where the strategic partner interfaces with SCRI.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Serving as our enterprise relationship owner and primary point of contact; liaising with business line contacts to ensure a high-touch service offering.
• Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships across partner organization to enable effective collaboration in support of shared strategic objectives.
• Maintain and develop strong business relationships with various partner executive stakeholders. The role requires sustained partner contact and relationships.
• Coordinates a kick-off meeting with new strategic partners to set governance and expectations among key stakeholders internally within SCRI and externally with partner.
Additionally:
* Ensuring achievement of measures outlined in governance document.
* Provides proactive and creative recommendations on how to meet goals outlined in the guidance document.
* Analyze key data, produce reports, prepare/conduct business reviews, and present detail to SCRI leadership and valued partner. • Raise and maintain enterprise awareness of the partnership status.
* Support overall customer engagement efforts including both virtual and in-person meetings.
* Conduct intake meetings.
* Key Conference support – planning and execution, facilitate customer engagement, represent SCRI at booth
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree completed
Experience may be substituted for education
5+ years professional work experience in business development, clinical research, and/or pharmaceutical development
Strong background in business development, sales, negotiations, and account management.
Oncology clinical research required
Excellent organization, communication and time management
Analytical skills with ability to see the “big picture”; innovation and enterprise mindset
