Responsible for execution of a 24/7/364 day-to-day Operational activities at the Terminal including Aviation, additive product receipts, Jet Slop transfer, VRU operations, Tank operations, Product Quality control, HES, Stock control and reconciliation with regards to the Stock Control Standards. Also ensure consistent application of clean, safe, reliable, efficient, and environmentally sound operations. Assist Terminal Manager with all Operational activities.

  • Responsible for execution of day-to-day operational activities at the terminal
  • Assist Terminal Operator with Additive receipts into storage tanks
  • Collaborates with facility management (Terminal Manager) in addressing gaps and trends from Stock Control Administrative reviews.
  • CMMS Management - Ensure that all assigned tasks for preventative/corrective maintenance are completed on-time by performing equipment, material, and routine site inspections.
  • Issue permit to work for contractors performing any maintenance or project work at the facility
  • Facilitate terminal induction and perform vehicle inspections to issue Safe Loading Pass
  • Conduct LPO’s (Loss Prevention Observations) on drivers to certify them
  • Conduct reviews on terminal SOP’s and JLA’s
  • Facilitate effective communication between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Investigate any out of tolerance inventory loss/gain
  • Responsible for the functioning of two gantries (Fuels & Aviation – Jet)
  • Assist the Invoicer Administrator to execute their function (processing orders, issuing FANs and reconciling of delivered orders)
  • Ensure safety and compliance to all company policies and guidelines
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Supervise, coach and mentor team members on shift

Professional Qualification and Certifications:

  • Degree in Transport and or Operation Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or similar

Work Experience:

  • 3-5yrs Logistic/Supply Chain terminal/depot and operations experience
  • Supervisory/Management Experience
  • Terminal operations
  • Aviation (Advantage)
  • Petroleum Experience (Oil and Gas) or FMCG
  • Stock Counting/Reconciliation
  • Ability to work shifts

Knowledge and skills:
