As a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in .NET, API development and AI integration you will build scalable and secure APIs and have an interest in leveraging AI technologies to enhance application functionality.

You will be a part of a Platform Engineering team that enables cloud migration and delivery pipeline for the Decisioning platform.  We are putting customers at the centre of everything we do. Together we will use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.

You’ll be joining our Decisioning Platform Squad who are responsible for Future Fit Development and maintenance for creating a World class platform for Decisioning applications, deployment, maintenance, monitoring and overall availability of the systems.

We are seeking people who can:

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable APIs using .NET technologies, ensuring high performance and reliability.

  • Design, build, and deploy applications on AWS Kubernetes platform, with a focus on scalability and resilience.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML experts, to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration of APIs with AI-powered systems and other platforms.

  • Implement security measures and best practices to protect APIs, data, and AI models from potential threats.

  • Utilize Kafka messaging system to enable real-time data streaming, event-driven architecture, and AI-driven insights.

  • Optimize API performance by implementing caching, load balancing, and AI-based predictions or recommendations.

  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate deployment processes, ensuring continuous integration and delivery, and seamless AI model deployment.

Tech Skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but having significant experience and exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team.

  • Proven experience in .NET and API development.

  • Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, including model integration and Cloud based deployment.

  • Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and DevOps practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
