About the team

The People & Program Operations team is comprised of trusted consultants to our People Partners and the business leaders at Roku. We are responsible for all aspects of the employee's journey while working at Roku, from onboarding through payroll to implementing, administering, and evolving compensation and benefits programs across Roku globally.

 

About the role 

We are currently seeking a People Ops Coordinator to join our People & Program Operations team, focusing on HR daily operation work for our APAC regions.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Act as the first point of contact for APAC employees (South Korea, Taiwan, China Mainland) relations issues, leaves of absence, benefits questions, and terminations etc. 
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations to ensure HR procedures and documentation are in line with internal policies and processes including on-boarding & termination, contract delivery/sign/return, probation management, benefits onboarding & offboarding and other employee life cycle management
  • Take charge of monthly payroll data, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll result
  • Collaborate with the 3rd party HR supplier, be responsible for employee's social insurance, Hukou, residence permit, etc.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • To improve employee experience and overall process efficiency and effectiveness, continuously standardize and optimize HR operational processes in close collaboration with HR team and cross-functional stakeholders. 
  • Document and track all HR and payroll-related inquiries and resolutions for reporting and continuous improvement purposes.
  • Additional duties and projects as needed.

 

We're excited if you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource preferred
  • Must a native speaker for Korean, fluent in written and spoken Business English.
  • 5+ years of People Operations or People Generalist experience 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail 
  • Able to interact and communicate effectively with employees, vendors, contractors in a professional manner 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
