Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing is currently looking for an Experienced Quality Systems Specialist to join their team in Mesa, AZ. These positions will focus on supporting Vertical Lift with in Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development.
  • Develops basis of estimates and milestone schedules supporting contractually required First Article Test Reports.
  • Manages First Article Test Report development and submittal in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Prepares and maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.
  • Works under general direction

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with AS9100/ISO9001
  • 3+ years of experience reviewing or supporting First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102
  • Proficiency with computers and common business software (Microsoft Suite, Adobe, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, or Supplier Quality Specialist
  • 3+ years of experience reading/comprehending engineering documents (drawings, specifications, etc.)
  • 1+ years of project management experience
  • An understanding of working contracts with U.S. Department of Defense, Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and/or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience developing First Article Test Reports in accordance with 48 CFR 52.209-3/4
  • Experience reading AH-64 engineering documents
  • Experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency
  • Experience interfacing with US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, Systems Readiness Directorate
  • Familiarity with DFARS 252.227-7013 Rights in Technical Data—Noncommercial Items
  • 5+ years of experience with AS9100/ISO9001
  • 5+ years of experience reviewing or supporting First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102
  • 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, or Supplier Quality Specialist
  • 5+ years of experience reading/comprehending engineering documents (drawings, specifications, etc.)
  • 5+ years of project management experience

Typical Education & Experience:
Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Level 3 Summary pay range: $ 59,850- $111,150

Level 4 Summary pay range:   $74,340- $138,060
