Own Your Impact on Our Analytics Roadmap

 We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to define and drive the vision and roadmap for Capella Columnar’s analytics ecosystem integration. You will focus on expanding support for cutting-edge technologies such as open table formats , and integrate diverse data sources including BI tools, databases, CRMs, and developer tools like PySpark. You will also  work closely with the Engineering team to make data ingestion seamless. This is a cross-functional role requiring close collaboration across teams to differentiate Capella Columnar in the market and deliver high-impact solutions for customers.

Your expertise will be critical in:

  • Defining and evolving the product vision and roadmap for Capella Columnar’s integration roadmap, ensuring differentiation in the analytics space and delighting our customers.
  • Building and cultivating strong relationships with leading cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), analytics partners (Confluent , Tableau), and Gen AI ecosystem  (e.g Amazon Bedrock) .
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to define how our technologies can best complement and integrate with partner solutions, creating a unified experience for developers.
  • Championing  the needs of developers building AI-powered applications with Couchbase and our partner ecosystem.

Who We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of product management experience. Experience with database management systems, analytics platforms, or similar technologies is a plus.
  • You have a deep understanding of the data and analytics ecosystem, including familiarity with technologies such as Iceberg, Delta Lake, Parquet, and Arrow. 
  • You have proven expertise in data ingestion technologies, and familiarity with Kafka and Amazon Kinesis.
  • Prior product management experience is essential, with a strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product roadmaps and user stories.
  • You're an excellent communicator with a collaborative spirit, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Bonus Points for:

  • You have deep knowledge of database products (OLTP /OLAP) in an engineering or a customer-facing role 
  • You have built and shipped SaaS analytics  products in the past as a Product Manager or an Engineer.
  • Knowledge of Vector Search / Embeddings/RAG and Gen AI technologies
  • Deep Knowledge of table and data formats like Parquet and Iceberg.
  • Deep understanding of Kafka /Amazon Kinesis or similar tools.
  • Experience working with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
