Job Purpose:

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in the execution of responsibilities surrounding bank account maintenance, bank relationships, bank fee analysis, relevant control/support tasks & other bank admin areas.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with various functions for any issues related to Accounts Payable (AP) Accenture team.
  • Monitor the monthly closing activities for AP.
  • Verifies all fund transfers settlements related to AP & Treasury & Investment transactions (BPI, BDO, CITI, SMBC, SCB, HSBC).
  • Handle review completeness documents required for Vendor set-up in SAP.
  • Handles review of all CWT’s/2307 for releasing (Upon payment & Quarterly)
  • Audit of Purchase Order (PO) prepared by General Services Department (GSD).
  • Handles EFPS filing for all indirect taxes (VAT, EWT, FWT etc.)
  • Monitor status of active corporate cards, assist in any issues encountered, handles increase in credit limit and sends follow-up to employees with overdue accounts.
  • Maintain file of active/inactive/closed corporate cards and AP files.
  • Handle concur expense reports submitted by the employees and conducts post audit review of the entries once approved and uploaded to the AP system; create JE adjustment if needed.
  • Respond/assist to queries from other departments related to payments, concur and corporate card.
  • Prepares monthly FBT worksheet for employee's medical expenses and send to FC controllership team for booking.
  • Coordinates with HRSS the monthly payroll reports and statutory reports and ensure approval by the authorized signatories.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports requested by the Region, IC and by the internal and external auditor.
  • Coordinates with various departments for the preparation of the 12-month rolling cash flow forecast report for AIG Philippines Insurance, Inc. and NUFIC-Guam required by Regional Actuary/Treasury.
  • Handles payment process for all NUFIC-Guam’s payment requests (Fund Transfers, Cheque Requests, LPR & GOE related expenses).
  • Handles club shares monitoring/update and admin works related to change in assignee.
  • Handles admin works related to bank user access (removal or addition), annual bank access recertifications and DVP limit.
  • Handles equity trade settlements.
  • Handles STI related task (canvas, placements etc.)
  • Day-to-day duties in relation to Bank account opening, closing and modification for Philippines and Guam
  • Handles all transactional activities to treasury and investment activities not handled by Accenture.
  • Maintains complete and proper record for files Audit purposes.
  • Ad-hoc tasks that maybe assigned by the superior from time to time

Education and Experience:

  • Preferably with Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a business-related area.
  • Experience in Corporate Treasury Operations environment or similar.
  • Banking Administration experience in part or whole (as defined above) is necessary.
  • Cash Management / Payments / SWIFT experience highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Ability to work closely with various teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
  • Must be highly organized and meticulous.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and observe strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently.
