Idaho Power — located in vibrant Boise, Idaho — is looking for a Land Rights Leader to join our Corporate Real Estate team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. While this position is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location, we offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote.
What does a Land Rights Leader do for us?
The Land Rights Leader oversees and guides a team that represents the interests of the company in land rights matters and directs the planning, acquisition, lease, disposal, and administrative management of company real estate or right of way assets in alignment with broader strategic initiatives. This position will set strategic goals, forecast needs, help set budgets, manage contractors, and provide leadership of employees, ensuring the land rights team works efficiently and effectively to support all related company needs. They act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, closely coordinating with them to ensure timely and quality execution of work while seeking the best and most-timely outcome for Idaho Power. They share expertise on land rights matters, including rights of way negotiations, easements, leases, and other real estate agreements with the entire Corporate Real Estate team.

This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people.
