Job Description

You will be reporting to a Senior Director, APAC Operations.

You will provides strategic leadership and direct innovations toward operating procedures, and organizational structures to support the manufacturing plan for Singapore Operations. You are responsible for shipments more than $1B revenue with direct and indirect reports of more than 300 employees.

You will be expected to collaborate with global business partners to work toward common platforms, methods and systems. You will have leadership responsibilities to drive a lean continuous improvement culture leading to quality improvements, cycle time reductions, safety improvements, cost and waste reductions, inventory reductions, supplier development and shipping performance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will demonstrate business leadership throughout the organization to create and achieve strategic goals for the operation. Develop a Strategic Manufacturing and Operations Plan that supports productivity and financial goals.
  • Responsible for improving regarding costs, quality, delivery, cycle time and asset management through Lean practices.
  • Deep manufacturing process knowledge in engineer to order environment Electronic Assembly
  • Experienced in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Successful record of capacity planning and management
  • Passionate about quality systems management
  • 7+ years of experience developing expense and capital budgets and managing financial performance.
  • Manage all issues associated with facility operations, maintenance, and Rockwell Automation's presence in the local community
  • Ensures familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws. Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, security, quality and environmental), and functional policies published within Rockwell Automation.
  • Creates, motivates and leads cross-functional teams across the organization to achieve the objectives of the company.
  • Fosters culture of teamwork which values employee engagement among diverse workforce within the facility and the business as a whole
  • Lead systemic approach to workforce planning and succession planning, including identification and development of top talent

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the Singapore is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Minimum 10 years of varied management experience in production operations at manufacturing facilities, including responsibility for multiple teams within operations - materials planning, scheduling, and inventory management
  • Experience with global operations / Lean Certifications
  • SAP experience
  • Experience in industrial/electrical equipment manufacturing Electronic Assembly Manufacturing
  • ERP experience
