The Analyst, Lab & Site Operations Europe role will support the execution and management of the comprehensive sourcing strategies for the categories in scope in collaboration with the Lab Categories Leaders. She/He will support the analysis of the spend profiling, volumes and alternative services/goods to increase the penetration of strategies within the R&D and Supply Chain site network. She/He will manage also low volume, low complexity agreements under the defined categories and in line with contracting strategy for R&D Procurement . This role will be a part of the development of a new capability and location for R&D Procurement.

In this role you will…

  • Managing the spend profiling and optimization with the assigned categories and vendors

  • Support the identification/implementation of actions/projects to increase the level of penetration of the assigned categories

  • Perform Categories spend analysis to identify area of optimization with middle tier and tail suppliers

  • Negotiate and execute low complexity agreements in a timely manner under the defined categories or contracting strategy

  • Build relationships and ensure effective communication with GSK stakeholders; understand business requirements, support non standard requests, position Procurement’s value proposition

  • Consistently demonstrate GSK values and behavior's, foster the environment of a modern employer and promote GSK network/brand

  • Develops solutions to routine problems of limited scope

  • Provide support for departmental projects/workstreams as requested

  • Build relationships with suppliers to ensure the value of the supplier-GSK relationship is optimized
