What You’ll Do
Leads and manages fist line of defense business risk team. Responsibilities can include developing and managing strategic risk plans/programs that assess current and emerging risks associated with legal, regulatory and other business risk related exposures. Oversight includes, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, providing risk guidance on new initiatives, enhancing the control environment by strengthening risks, controls, policy/standards/procedures, process mapping, control testing, managing issues and actions, root cause and remediation. Additionally, this position will provide Compliance SME program guidance. Regularly communicates and partners with Sr. Leadership including Corporate Risk Management and Business Units.
Develops and coaches teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manages risk within the teams you oversee.
How You’ll Do It
Develops and executes strategic risk plan/program that assesses current and emerging risks associated with legal, regulatory and other risk related exposures.
Oversees the completion of risk related initiatives/projects including a comprehensive risk assessment. Oversees development, implementation and administration control standardization.
Monitors the risk and control environment for weaknesses and identify solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency of controls. Escalates and reports risks/issues timely. Oversees development, implementation and administration control standardization.
Leads and develops dedicated risk experts
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Management and Marketing
8+ years in Financial services, Marketing, Compliance, Internal Audit Operations or Vendor Management areas including people management or related
In lieu of degree, must have at least 12+ years of experience in Financial services, Marketing, Compliance, Internal Audit Operations or Vendor Management areas including people management or related

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,000.00 to $178,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package.
