Position Title:   Human Resources Business Partner
FLSA Status:    Exempt
Reports To:       Director, Human Resources

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Human Resources Business Partner (“HRBP”) for this posting will focus on employee and labor relations and also serves as a thoughtful leader and tactical business partner, with oversight on policy administration and one or more of the specialty areas of human resources including talent acquisition and management, employee and labor relations, benefits payroll and compensation administration, and leave administration.  The HRBP will also be involved in projects and strategic initiatives that support HR process improvement solutions and enhanced programs and services. The HRBP will be responsible for maintaining adequate records and support with compliance

Starting Wage: $87,987.00/year. The posted wage is the current starting wage for this position. Actual wage is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience and qualifications for this position. The wage range for this position may be subject to change in the future depending on a variety of factors such as market conditions, business needs, legal developments, and other appropriate factors.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a business related field.

Skills/Experience:

  • Five (5) years combined experience in HR Manager or Generalist areas including talent acquisition and management, employee and labor relations, policy administration, benefits, payroll and leave administration and change management and/or equivalent.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all organizational levels and with a varied audience, both verbally and in writing.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with potential candidates and all levels of the organization.

  • Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making

  • High degree of competency with applicant tracking systems, employment background check practices and databases; adult learning concepts, practices and procedures.

  • Proficient leadership and strategic thinking.

  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.

  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Knowledgeable and ability to work in Google Suite.

  Management Experience:

  • Prior supervisory experience.

  • Ability to manage staff and resources. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Certification/Licensure:

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP); and/or HRCI Certified Professional (PHR) or HRCI Certified Senior Professional (SPHR) credential

Education:

Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.

 

Skills/Experience:

  • Proficient in Google’s G Suite

Management Experience:

  • Prior management experience
  • Ability to manage staff and resources

Office supplies and equipment, including telephone, computer and Google G Suite.
