Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Poland is currently looking for an Experienced Service Engineer - 757/737CL Airframe to join the team in Rzeszow, Poland.

On this position, you will provide technical solutions to a wide range of problems related to the structural repairs on 757 and 737CL airplanes. You will represent The Boeing Company by providing communication, guidance and support to the airline and MRO customers on their service requests.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive, process and respond to requests from airlines and repair organizations (MRO) for technical support of Boeing 757 and 737CL airplanes. Provide quick and appropriate response that meets the Safety First principle.
  • Provide disposition for structural repairs, design repair plans, provide jacking and shoring instructions, analyze reported problems for potential safety issues, provide No Technical Objection (NTO) for ferry flights / flight tests etc.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and other engineering groups regarding service request data and repair solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the airplane lifecycle; develop and implement product/process improvements.
  • Apply engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer, design interim and permanent engineering solutions (repair disposition text, repair scheme, etc.).
  • Identify and research documents required for proper technical assistance and airplane maintenance.
  • Analyze and communicate reported deviations to the type design and/or repair documentation, recommend and manage resolution.
  • Ensure customer compliance with Boeing standards. Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of aircraft.
  • Analyze damage, repair or structural modification to determine appropriate jacking and shoring (general knowledge), prevent collateral damage and assure a safe work environment.
  • Understand structural repair classification and definitions. Apply engineering principles to typical damages removal process and inspection. Confident understanding SRM allowable damage limits and SRM major repair procedures and requirements.
  • Understand Major/Minor repairs classification/principles.
  • Have a general knowledge and understanding of certification process and principles.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 3+ years of aircraft structure, materials and properties, design criteria and release processes.
  • 3+ years in aircraft maintenance.
  • Solid communicator, upper-intermediate in both written and verbal English.
  • Readiness to work in a flexible schedule (weekends/holidays support, overtime, shifted work schedule).
  • Readiness for business trips – up to 25% of working time.
  • Existing rights to work in Poland.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experienced in working with airlines and supporting aircraft during maintenance. 
  • Experienced in reading and understanding engineering models, drawings, specifications and various technical documentation.
  • Experienced in researching engineering designs in order to develop defect solutions to product/ process issues for production or simple technical in-service issues.
  • Experienced/Familiar with structural design principles for aircraft primary structures (e.g. corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, and repair techniques).
