About the Team:
Our Seller onboarding team lies at the heart and soul of Walmart Local Pickup and Delivery, ensuring that we set all of our sellers up for success by providing a seamless onboarding, product catalog, and photo experience. As our program grows both in scale and scope of offering, the strength of our seller onboarding engine must grow with it.
Our mission is to empower local businesses on the Walmart Marketplace platform. We move quickly, learn, and reiterate to make impactful decisions that display empathy for our range of sellers.
What You’ll do:
As a Seller Onboarding Strategy Operations Manager – Store and Order Management, you'll be the strategic liaison to the team responsible for our end-to-end seller order management experience. You will work extensively with our product team to define the long-term roadmap of our store and order management system. Enabling substitutions, discounts, group ordering, multilocation management, etc. – the ground is yours to build a product from ground up.
You will lead complex, cross-functional projects across the onboarding organization, working with our Sales, Product, and Operations teams. You will develop and execute strategies to elevate the store and order management experience for our sellers across different categories, work on our most challenging problems, and you'll set goals to track the success of the team. This role is for someone who loves analyzing processes, cares about data led innovation, obsesses about operational details, and cares deeply about the seller order management journey from end-to-end.
What you’ll bring:
Be the strategic lead for our seller onboarding team, ensuring a high-quality experience for our sellers. Leverage data to continuously iterate and improve the experience.
Build trust with stakeholders, be an onboarding subject matter specialist (SME), and a strategic thought partner for the seller operations team.
Lead high priority projects & initiatives effectively. Be resilient & adaptable in a fast and ever-changing environment.
Advocate for your team and act as the voice of the Walmart sellers; leverage your experience of working with your team, sellers, and vendors to influence the organization’s roadmap. Use your voice to manage stakeholder expectations, offer alternative solutions, and pivot as necessary.
Turn seller data into meaningful product, support, and operational improvements by creating compelling business cases; leverage your excellent stakeholder management skills to get buy-in.
Experiment with new flows and iterate as needed to drive operational efficiencies.
Work with XFN stakeholders across product and engineering to define the best-in-class seller onboarding roadmap and develop those solution and deploy them.
Deploy a team of experienced associates to where they're most needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 2 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications:
You have a 4-year degree in business, economics, computer science, or other relevant area.
You have 4+ years of experience in technology, business operations, and seller experience/support.
Previous experience in third party Marketplace operations
You have 2+ years building complex and collaborative teams.
You identify scalable solutions across the business.
You enjoy working with data and aim to dive to the lowest level of detail to understand and solve new problems.
You take quick actions to drive business results.
You have experience leading people, directly and indirectly, to a common, shared goal.
Experience with Tableau, Excel, APIs, SQL, Looker, JIRA.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279/New York, New York US-09317:The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00-$156,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-04396/San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$169,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735:The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
