Currently our Supply Chain department is seeking a Supply Planner to join the team at our Carole Park Site.

Key duties of the Supply Planner include:

  • Review unconstrained net requirements through Kinaxis and SAP. Highlight major demand changes from previous month and identify constraints. Review net requirements against available capacity in manufacturing
  • Review material availability against MRP, and follow up with warehousing, quality and/or other site functions to ensure material availability
  • Convert unconstrained net requirements into Master Production Schedule (MPS).  Optimize MPS for capacity, resource, material, cost and utilization efficiencies
  • Convert firmed orders from Kinaxis into process orders and monitor progress of such process orders, tracking their moves accurately
  • Develop and report the site material needs plans, ensuring buy in from QC, QA and Production so that the plan is agreed to
  • Review and update planning master data to ensure accuracy in appropriate ERP and/or local system
  • Establish monthly commitments based on MPS, monitor performance and report final monthly Plan Adherence metric.  Identify root cause for misses and recommend actions for improvement
  • Gather data and metrics to develop monthly site supply review (S&OP)
  • Ensure material allocation are sent in time to allow dispensary to dispense in time
  • Conduct and complete end of batch reconciliations

To be considered for the Supply Planner include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain and/or similar
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain or Planning
  • Broad understanding of inventory control, scheduling techniques, planning and material requirements within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
  • Strong technical aptitude and time management skills
  • Experience with Trackwise and SAP is highly desired
  • Ability to learn various softwares and systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
