Sr. Associate, Funding Strategy

The Sr. Associate, Funding Strategy provides subject matter expertise in balance sheet management and optimizing numerous funding sources across varied product portfolios.  S/he implements complex solutions to comply department priorities and participates in complex analysis and projects.

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  • Accountable for funding plan forecasting and optimization, coordinating closely with central finance, business partners, and other areas of the treasury team. 

  • Collaborate with all treasury functions to ensure accurate and timely information sharing for ALCO, monthly reporting to the CFO, and reviews with risk and audit teams.

  • Identify areas to improve and enhance current reporting, forecasting methodologies, and data sourcing; strong background in building and rebuilding forecasting models required. 

  • Ad-hoc requests as needed to support leadership decision making, such as strategic planning scenario analysis and other what-if views.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 9+ years; Banking Industry strongly preferred


Skills and Abilities:

  • Financial modeling skills are a MUST; FP&A backgrounds welcome, Treasury & Funding backgrounds preferred

  • Ability to convey a sense of urgency and drive, managing up, down, and out.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills; SQL or other coding language a plus

  • Knowledge of core financial statements and how to influence them.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$145,800.00 USD

Maximum:

$210,000.00 USD
