M&A BJOB DESCRIPTION
As an important member of our Origination team, you will drive our acquisition activities by sourcing acquisitions of vertical-market-software companies by:
- Creatively identifying vertical market software businesses meeting our strategic criteria
- Maintaining and building a proprietary database of industry contacts
- Developing and conducting prospecting campaigns through email, and outbound calling
- Engage in meaningful dialogue with C-Suite Executives, financial advisors, investment bankers, and private equity firms while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
- Working in a team environment with Senior Business Development Associate and M&A Execution to ensure the smooth transition to the later stages of the process as appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English mandatory
- Excellent academic performance in an Undergraduate Business degree
- Preference given to those candidates with the following:
- 5 or more years of experience working in sales, consultancy, or professional services at a software company, broker firm, or M&A Boutique
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM beneficial
- Self-motivated, hands-on attitude with a sense of urgency towards driving sales and marketing lead volumes to generate a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
