We are seeking an Operations Research Analyst with a focus on analyses related to Army Intelligence across a wide variety of capability areas that support all of the Army’s Modernization priorities.  The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and optimization techniques, along with the ability to apply analytical methods to real-world business problems. The Operations Research Analyst will play a crucial role in developing models, conducting analyses, and providing insights that drive operational improvements and strategic decision-making for our clients. Conduct analysis and assessment of strategic documents, capability gaps, and supporting studies. Support and participate in analysis, war-gaming, modeling & simulation, exercises, and studies.  Use general mathematical analysis, sampling, queuing, other statistical techniques, and automated mathematical models to determine cost benefit Assist and collaborate in assessing issues, providing timely analysis, and developing recommendations for Army leaders in support of their participation in senior leader forums.  Provide senior level advice and oversight of support to client requirements.  You’ll help develop and present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency. In this role, you’ll use your experience with analytics and statistics to help devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines. Apply subject matter expertise your operations research experience to develop technologies and concepts that advance the DoD customer objectives.

Required

  • BS degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.  (Masters Degree preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with expertise in optimization, linear programming, integer programming, simulation, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience or working knowledge of Army Intelligence domain
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a demonstrated ability to translate complex problems into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Some travel
  • Must have an in-scope security clearance
